ADITYA BIRLA PUBLIC SCHOOL KHARIA KHANGAR

About Us

The idea of starting an English Medium Primary School, from Nursery to 3rd class, was conceived sometime on 17 March, 1989. Birla White Vidya Mandir, as it was known then, started functioning from 1 July, 1989. The real transformation of the school started in June, 2000, when the school was tied up with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan as “Bhavan’s Birla White Vidya Mandir”, the bench marked brain child of Birla White, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

It was rechristened as The Aditya Birla Public School on 1 April 2006. This added a new dimension in providing quality education. The aim of the school is to create awareness in the rural area by setting up seat of quality education in a pollution free atmosphere. It is dedicated to inculcate the qualities of leadership, adventure, exploration, mutual understanding and sound characters amongst the students. They are prepared to be responsible, honest, dedicated, conscientious and loyal citizens of India, having full faith in age old Indian ideals, values and traditions. They are tuned to be rational and not dogmatic; broad minded adapting to the needs of the changing times.

We are striving hard to accomplish the Vision and Mission of the Aditya Birla Group of schools whole heartedly, working towards academic and co-curricular excellence. Many infrastructural and other developments have taken place at the school since April like computer labs in first floor hall, running water facility in toilets, more water coolers on the first floor etc. We have added an A.V. Room with Smart Board.

We impart quality education to students from all sections of society belonging to rural and semi urban area without any discrimination of caste or creed. A total of 274 out of the total strength of 731 are girls, among which 166 are from rural areas. We conduct extra and remedial classes for these students to help them come up to a desired level of achievement.

The Recertification Audit ISO: 9001:2008 by DNV Hyderabad was conducted on 17 and 18 of July 2014. Consequently the school got ISO 9001:2008 re-certification for next three years.
